Hello Longhorns,
I know we would all like to be back at school learning and having fun with our friends, but at this time it is important to stay home. Know that I miss you and hope to see you soon!
While we’re away please explore the activities that I will be sharing with you each week. Take care!

Life Cycles |
Food Chains |
|
|
Life cycles are a series of stages that all plants and animals go through in their life. They are born, grow, change, reproduce, and die over time.
The video shows how to make different models and diagrams to compare the life cycles of a plant and animal. Students are encouraged to make their own models and compare the life cycles of the organisms they chose. Click on the links below to get more information! |
Food chains are simple models to show the flow of energy from one organism to the next.
The video explains the role of the Sun and ways to create different models to show food chains found in our environment. Students can continue making food chains that can later be connected to form food webs. Click on the links below to get more information! |
